THE 2009 BIG HOME TOUR PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT PHYSICAL ENTRY GUIDELINES 1. All homes on The Big Home Tour must be NEW and not previously occupied. **No construction is to be done during event hours. 2. Each home entered in The Big Home Tour shall be opened and adequately staffed during the show dates and hours as follows (Gated community entries must get approval from their community and facilitate entry for the public during show hours): April 25 & 26 – 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. May 2 & 3 – 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. May 9 & 10 – 10a.m. – 6 p.m. May 16 & 17 – 10a.m. – 6 p.m. 3. The price listed must be the actual sales price of the home. 4. In the event a home entered is sold by the Participant prior to or during the event, Participant agrees to keep the HBA informed as to keep the online information up to date. Participant may enter another listing or mark existing listing as “sold” 5. Participant is responsible to pick up all materials (brochure, front yard signage, partner tabletop posters, etc.) at the HBA Wednesday, April 22 – Friday, April 24. Each participant agrees to display partner tabletop poster in the kitchen and one area of choice. 6. Each Participant shall maintain general liability insurance on the property during the show hours in the amount of $500,000 and shall name the HBA additional insured. Evidence of insurance must be submitted with the entry. 7. Participant agrees that the HBA of Greater Dallas is not responsible for any loss or damage of any kind to entry. Participant will indemnify, defend and hold harmless the HBA from and against any and all claims, loss, damage, judgments, causes of action or injuries (including attorney fees and costs) rising out of or related to my participation in The Big Home Tour. 8. No entry/entrant/participant may charge admission or solicit donations for access to their entry featured in The 2008 Big Home Tour. VIRTUAL ENTRY GUIDELINES 9. Virtual homes under construction will not be advertised as open with appointment only. Home must be safe for public. 10. Sales price of the virtual homes will be listed as: Home Starting at ___. GENERAL ENTRY GUIDELINES 11. The accuracy of information submitted for the Big Home Tour is the responsibility of the Participant. 12. Entry Fees are nonrefundable except in the event that the show is cancelled. In such case, all entry fees will be refunded. 13.
